CUBAN CAMP 2026
If you like Salsa, Son, Bachata, Rumba, Afro Cuban Dance and rhythms, this is where it happens! Come and get a lot of inspiration at Bosei Idrætshøjskole on your summer holiday by Præstø, South Zealand, in Denmark. We have held the Salsa Summer Camp since 2004, and have classes for all levels. Everyone is welcome — singles and couples alike.
Join us for an experience for life, meet new people, and learn a lot of dance. When you have first tried our camp, we guarantee that you will get hooked :-)
Afro Cuban Camp 2024
AMAZING AFRO CUBAN DANCE & RUMBA CAMP
The Camp will take place inside our Cuban Summer Dance Camp
from July 19-25, this summer 2026 at Idrætshøjskolen Bosei.
Our program with Afro and Rumba workshops and classes, will be every day from 10:40-11:40, 11:50-12:50 and 14:00-18:00. (Friday the complet camp will only have classes until 16:00) One hour every day, there will also be an afro cuban song class, the rest of the program is dance classes with live music. And at all the classes our teaches will start with some explanation of the dance, so you can get deeper into the culture culture.
The Cuban Salsa Camp participants can also take part in this Afro Cuban and Rumba Camp program, but only in the afternoon as we will have different levels.The price is the same, however you select.

ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES AT BOSEI
The Salsa Camp will be held one hour drive from Copenhagen, at the beautiful :
Idrætshøjskolen Bosei, Evensølundvej 5, 4720 Præstø.
We found this fantastic high school, with great surroundings and with the most beautiful facilities. Last year was our first year here and all the students were super happy with the place!
We have previously held the camp at Møn Friskole, Rødkilde Theather High School, and a single year at Langebæk Course and Retreat Center - so we have been around a lot. But this new place is definitely the best place to date.
FACILITIES AT BOSEI
The main building was originally a sanatorium, and since they have expanded with Japanese-inspired buildings.
There is a swimming hall, workout center, several activities- and sports rooms, and a fantastic natural environment. There is also a Japanese library, creative workshop, music room and much more. Around the buildings, there is woods, a soccer field, tennis courts and more. It is not far away from the ocean, so it is possible to also take a beach trip.
As a participant, you can make use of all the facilities without extra charge.

ROOMS
There is space for 200 participants that stay at Bosei. There are 90 double rooms, together with 30 tent spots (not big family tents, or caravans).
Every year we have 30% couples and 70% singles from all over the country, and the rest of Scandinavia, and a few from the rest of Europa, that participate in our fantastic salsa camp.
The rooms are with separate beds and there shared personal shower rooms and toilets at the end of the hallway.
It is also possible to participate only in the course and attend all the activities, without staying at Bosei. See prices here.
